It’s never too late to do what you once wanted to do with your life. It can be quite terrifying, but it is important to ask yourself ‘what kind of life will I feel good about…what do I have to offer and what will I enjoy?’

Everyone has many qualities. List them so you can view them in black and white. (Carers have courage, are reliable, determined, compassionate, organised…the list goes on!)

When looking for work or a volunteering role, try to describe the job that you really want and not simply be grateful for the first one that comes along. Doing a job you really want to do will build your self-esteem and create feelings of wellbeing.

Make an appointment to see a careers advisor.

Look outside the square and try different things.

Check out possible courses or study.

Remember, there is no right or wrong and anything is possible!
